David Crosby (David Van Cortlandt Crosby (August 14, 1941 – January 18, 2023) an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. co-founder of Crosby, Stills & Nash, dies at 81 Crosby was a prominent figure of the free-spirited 1970s Laurel Canyon scene who helped bring folk-rock mainstream with both The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
