Opera Lafayette of Washington D.C. uncovers Monsigny work once sung by Marie-Antionette

Opera Lafayette of Washington D.C.´s period instrument orchestra staged the opera "Le Roi et le fermier" (1762)  an opéra-comique in three acts by french composer Pierre-Alexandre Monsigny (1719-1817).  The opera was reviewed by Tim Smith of the Baltimore Sun.
