Oxana Arkaeva - soprano
Ukrainian born soprano made her first stage appearance at the age of six. She studied the Russian folk instrument Domra and Piano and sang in her mother's vocal ensemble, performing various repertoire from folk songs to classical compositions. She studied at the Tchaikowsky State Conservatory, where she made her operatic debut as Euridice in Gluck's "Orfeo" and as Tatiana in Tchaikowsky' s "Eugene Onegin". Then followed two years at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she performed numerous recitals including the famous Steinway Hall.
Oxana Arkaeva is a winner of such renowned international Competitions such as.
1. Prize at the "Operalia - 94", World Opera Competition in Mexico -City.
2. Prize at the "Olga Koussewitzky Singing Contest", New York, USA
2. Prize at the "S´Hertogenbosch" International Vocal Competition, Netherlands
2. Prize "XXII Academia di perfezionamento di arte vocale", Italy
She continuosly performs at different theatres and concert halls throughout Germany and Europe, and has sung in Venezuela, Mexico, Russia and USA. She was a member of Frankfurt Opera and State Theatre in Saarbrucken opera ensambles and since the 2009-2010 she is a member of the Opera in Ulm, Germany
